ideeNet® Server migration


Deutsche Anleitung

If you want to install ideeNet® on a new Windows server, please proceed as follows:

  • Provide your Koblank update package of your currently installed version. If you can not find your current Koblank update package, perform an update to the latest Koblank® Ideenmanagement software version.

  • Your data does not need to be installed by setup, as it already exists on the current server. First, move the data to the new server.

  • Copy the Koblank update package downloaded from the Internet into a folder on the new server.

  • Install ideeNet® on the new server. Follow the

    PDF koblank-ideenet.pdf,

    which which is located in the ZIP file of your Koblank update package. To translate these instructions from German to your language, open Google Translator, upload your koblank-ideenet.pdf and then start the translation.

  • If the server migration has changed the path to the data, for example because the new server has a different name than the old server, please note:

    If there are computers on which an ideeOffice client is installed, the entry koblank.cfg in the registry must be changed on these computers. Information about the entries in the registration database can be found in the help of the Setup.exe in the ZIP file of the Koblank update package.
